Tin Barn Pottery is the alternative source for pottery supplies in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.  We sell pottery clay products to schools, hobbyists and professional artists.  Our goal is to give our clients access to high quality pottery supplies in our retail store in beautiful Old Town Manassas.

We are a boutique supplier.   We stock a limited supply of clay, glazes, dry materials and equipment.  We do not have the space or resources to stock a large inventory.   But, we can provide you with access to supplies offered by our suppliers and get the product to you in a reasonable and timely manner.  Our main suppliers are Laguna Clay Company, Standard Clays, Speedball and Amaco.  Each of these suppliers has an extensive catalog and warehouse operation.   They manufacture the clays and glazes that we carry and we rely on them for quality testing of materials to be sure they are safe for our use.

Warranty Information:

We will gladly replace defective merchandise.  The manufacturer’s warranty will be extended in the event of defective equipment.  We cannot be responsible for damage or loss due to misuse of materials or equipment.  We also cannot be responsible for changes in clays and/or chemicals resulting from mining variances.  You should test each new batch of materials to determine consistency and suitability for your specific purpose.

Return Policy: 

We will accept return of unopened merchandise for exchange or refund within 30 days accompanied by a receipt.  Please check your order upon receipt.

Prices:

We make every effort to offer our products at competitive prices and provide our customers with a high level of service.  Due to circumstances beyond our control, all prices are subject to change without notice.

Quantity Discounts

Clay, dry materials and glazes are priced per pound.  Minimum order of 25 pounds for any one clay.  Stock prepared clay may be combined to determine pound price.  Prices on clays exclude freight.
